Tips are not the only thing needed to be able to get out of serious situations such as kidnapping. Even though you may know everything you may need to do some people freeze up when in these situations. Though you may be very scared if you do not act quickly you may run out of the very little time that you have and need. The best thing for you to do is try to calm yourself down, think, and act.

The video above is a series of tips and techniques that could prevent you from being kidnapped. A large majority of the killers mentioned below kidnapped their victims. Along with the tips given and this visual help I hope to have given you information that could (but I hope doesn't have to be!) used during your regular life. Thank you for following my blog.

Carrol Edward Cole's first murder occurred when he was just 9 years of age. Though he was a women hater his first victim was a male. During his confession he admitted to killing as many as 16 women. He did this by strangulation, where as he took them home or went back to their house to have sexual intercourse but instead he would kill them.

When Cole was 5 years old his Mother brought many men over her house while Carrol's father was away and forced him to watch her and the men indulge in sexual acts. She beat him to scare him from telling his father when he came home. Because of this he hated women and that it why he chose to kill them. Cole was sentenced to life imprisonment but it was changed to death when he was transferred to a different prison. He was put to death on December 6th, 1985.

Safety tips 

• Always go drinking with a friend, when you're out late alone you are more vulnerable.
• Know your limits. Many of Cole's victims were too drunk to even know what was happening to them when they were strangled.

Some people do anything for the one they love. They may cook, clean, or even in this case ... kill. Karla and Paul Bernardo tortured, raped and murdered 3 girls. One of these girls being Karla's younger sister, Tammy. She also stood behind him if anything he wanted to do, even rape. Not only did he murder 3 girls, he was a serial rapist who raped up to 16 girl in 2 years.

Paul Bernardo was born to Marilyn and Kenneth Bernardo. Kenneth wasn't his real father as his mother cheated on her husband. Paul grew up bright and charming and many women liked him. Karla Homolka was born on May 4, 1970 to Dorothy and Karel Homolka in Port Credit, Ontario. She was pretty, smart and popular. Karla developed a passion for animals and a pet convention is where they met.

Paul and Karla's first murder was Karla's little sister, it was supposed to be just Paul taking Tammy's virginity but turned out be an accidental death. The other two murders weren't. They were caught when Paul's dna matched the dna taken from his own rape scenes. Karla was called in for questioning. When the cops began to talk to her she immediately admitted that he was a rapist and murderer. Paul was sentenced to life in prison while Karla received a lighter sentence and was released in 2005 after only serving 12 years.


Safety tips 

• At night be way more cautious of your surroundings and don't talk to strangers. Paul kidnapped his 3rd victims by beckoning her to his car. She came.
• Try to keep your curfew if you don't, at least have means to get in your house.

Above is Charles Manson, a convicted serial killer. In the late 1960's, Manson founded a hippie cult group known as "the Family" whom he manipulated into brutally killing others for him. On August 9, 1969, four of his followers murdered actress Sharon Tate, her unborn baby, and four others who were visiting her while he husband was away. The following night, Manson's followers brutally killed Leno and Rosemary LaBianca in their home.

Charles Manson was born in Cincinnati, Ohio his mother was merely 16 years of age. She had run away from home at the age of 15. Since his mother couldn't take care of him, Manson spent his youth at the homes of various relatives and when he was not there he was at special reform schools and boys homes. By the time he reached the age of 9 years old he had already begun to steal and take part in other various crimes.

• Do not be so easily led, manipulation is very strong but you have to be stronger.
• Be sure to watch for signs of manipulating behavior.

On October 1989, Missouri police received a tip that human body parts could be found on a farm owned by an elderly couple, Ray and Faye Copeland. After digging up their yard they found five decomposing bodies buried in shallow graves. After an autopsy report it was determined that each man had been shot in the back of the head at close range. After reviewing their handwritten list of farmhands there was an "x"  next to the dead farmhands' names.

Ray Copeland was born in Oklahoma during 1914, just as WWI was beginning in Europe. Rays parents, Jess and Laney Copeland, moved around frequently as he was growing up and eventually settled in Ozark Hills, Arkansas. During a routine visit to a physicians office, he met a young girl named Faye Della Wilson. The 19 year old was the daughter of Rufus and Gladys Wilson, a hard working couple from Harrison, Arkansas.

Ray was the mastermind and the urge to kill came from the unresisting urge for cattle. The problem with this was that he didn't have any money. He would pick up homeless people and have them sign fake checks and afterwards when they went missing he would just pick a different person. He did this an unknown amount of time but according to the bodies found on his property he did this at least five times.Both Ray and Faye were sentenced to death by lethal injection.

Christopher Wilder, was also known as the beauty queen killer because all his victims were young and beautiful was a serial killer who kidnapped and raped twelve women and murdered at least eight of them during a six-week cross-country spree in the United States in early 1984.

As a child he survived a near death drowning incident. After being involved in a gang rape he was given electroshock therapy.There is some evidence to suggest that this course of treatment only exacerbated his violent sexual tendencies. Wilder was born in Australia. His father was an American naval officer and his mother an Australian it is said that he almost died at birth.

The first murder attributed to Wilder was that of Rosario Gonzalez, last seen on February 26, 1984 at the Miami Grand Prix, where she was employed as a model. 33-year old Beth Dodge was his last victim.Wilder forced Dodge into his car. After a short drive, Wilder shot Dodge and dumped her in a gravel pit. He was killed instantly when a bullet went through his heart while in a struggle where the police tried to arrest.

• Try to stay with a group of friends and if approached by anyone make sure to pay attention to the way they are acting. Wilder picked up people with an apprentice who was scared

Jerry Brudos was a shoe fetishist, serial killer, rapist, torturer and necrophiliac who stalked women around Portland, Oregon in 1968 and 1969. He was also called  The Lust Killer because he killed for his lust for women's shoes. He strangled them and stole their shoes , afterwards putting their shoes in a shoe collection he had back home.

Jerry Brudos' love for shoes began at the age of five, after he "rescued" a pair of high heel shoes from the garbage. As he grew older, his unusual interest in shoes developed into a fetish which he satisfied by breaking into homes to steal shoes and women's underwear.When he was in his teens he added violence to his repertoire and began knocking down girls, choking them until they were unconscious, then stealing their shoes.

In January 1968, Linda Slawson, 19, working as a door-to-door encyclopedia salesperson, happened to knock on Brudos' door. He later confessed to killing her, then cutting off her left foot to use as a model for his collection of stolen shoes. His last victim was Linda Salee, 22 on April, 1969 he kidnapped her from a shopping mall, brought her to his home and raped and then strangled her to death. The women who survived were able to give tips to the police, whom later ended up at his door.

 Angel Resendiz's first known murder was in 1986. In 1991, he committed his first known murder on U.S. soil, killing 33-year-old Michael White in Kentucky by beating him to death with a brick.He was nicknamed "The Railroad Killer" because all the killings occured near train tracks. In June of 1999, after being identified as the killer, he was placed in the Top Ten of the FBI's Most Wanted list and a reward of $50,000, which was later raised to $125,000 later that week.

Resendiz was born as Ángel Leoncio Reyes Recendis in Izucar de Matamoros, Mexico in 1960. His mother, Virginia Resendiz de Maturino, never married his father and frequently abused him physically. At the age of six he was sent to live with his maternal uncle, who raped him, and was also sexually assaulted by a local pedophile. At the age of eleven, he ran away from home and spent some time living on the street, where he took up glue sniffing. At the age of 16, he tried to enter Texas, but was deported.

In 1986, when he killed a homeless woman and her boyfriend. In 1991, he committed his first known murder on U.S. soil, killing 33-year-old Michael White. Over the course of the following eight years, he continued traveling by train in the U.S., during which time he killed at least a dozen people. When the crimes were connected forensically and by VICAP, a manhunt started. His sister convinced him to confess after Drew Carter, a Texas Ranger talked to his sister. He was sentenced to death by lethal injection in 2006.

Ian Brady and Myra Hindley are two of the most notorious killers in British criminal history. They are hated for the kidnapping and murder of five children over 18 months, between July 1963 and October 1965. The pair were jailed for life in 1966 for murdering five children all from the Manchester area.lured the youngsters to their deaths, sexually torturing their victims before burying them on Saddleworth Moor in the Pennines above Manchester.

Born on July 23, 1942 in Manchester, England, Myra Hindley grew up with her grandmother. After the drowning death of a close male friend when she was 15, Hindley left school and converted to Roman Catholicism. Ian Brady was born in a Glasgow, Scotland slum on January 2, 1938, to single mother Peggy Stuart. He was constantly in trouble and though he stopped for sometime he returned to crime within a short time and, as a result, ended up in Strangeways Prison at the age of 17, where he was forced to toughen up. In 1961, Hindley met Ian Brady, a stock clerk who was recently released from prison.

They kidnapped children and stabbed, raped, and buried them on the Moors. They began in 1963 and their last kill was on October 7, 1965. In that time they murdered 5 children, their youngest victim being only 10 years of age. They were caught when they murdered 17 year old Edward Evans in the presence of Hindley's brother in law David Smith. Brady and Hindley were both jailed for life, with a minimum recommended sentence of 30 years for what are today known as the 'Moors Murders'.

John Wayne Gacy also known as the Clown Killer was a serial killer who was found guilty for the murder of 33 young men. He picked them up and brought them back to his house where he tortured them and after killing them buried them under the floorboards of his home or dumped in the local river.Born on March 17, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, John Wayne Gacy faced an abusive childhood and conflict over his sexuality.

After being convicted of sexual assault in 1968, it was discovered that he had gone on to kill 33 young males, burying most under his home. He was found guilty in 1980 and given multiple death penalty and life sentences. He was executed by lethal injection on May 10, 1994.

1970s, serial killer David Berkowitz created terror in the hearts of the residents of New York City. He targeted single women and couples, taking the lives of six people and leaving several others injured. Neighbors and co-workers thought of him as a quiet loner, but they had no idea how lethal he was.

Born Richard David Falco, he was adopted by Pearl and Nathan Berkowitz when he was only a few days old. Berkowitz was said to be an intelligent but troubled child growing up. He was close to his mother and was affected by her death when he was a teenager. At the age of 18, Berkowitz joined the U.S. Army. He gave in to the "demons" who spoke to him in the summer of 1976 shooting two teenage girls, killing one and wounding the other.

Berkowitz was a visionary killer, he was motivated by the "voices in his head that told him to kill." These demons, he said let him know when he saw the right people. He was said to be "adopted by Satan." While in custody Berkowitz said that Sam Carr was the most powerful demon and talked to him through the howling of his dog, Harvey whom he shot. After his first murder he killed 5 other people and was finally caught after matching a ticket. He was sentenced 25 years to life for each murder.

Known as the "BTK Killer" which stands for "bind, torture, and kill"an unknown killer caused terror in Witchita, Kansas, area from the 1970's to the 1990's. No one knew who he was until 2005, he was finally caught and revealed to be Dennis Rader, a seemingly average married father of two. His first crime was in 1978. Later that year he began seeking fame for his killings, writing letters and reporting his crimes.



Rader was born in 1945 and grew up in Wichita along with three brothers, all of whom graduated from Heights High School in Wichita. Rader was in the Air Force in Viertnam from 1965 to 1969. Joseph Otero, BTK's victim, was also in the Air Force at the same time. He worked in the meat department for a Park City grocery store and then as an assembler at the Coleman camping gear firm between 1971 and 1973, where he met two of his earlier victims. Many referred to him as a kind of guy who wasn't very noticeable, one who never really stood out from others. It was his ability to "blend in" that allowed him to go undetected for so many years.

He broke into the homes of his victims and "bind, tortured, and killed" them. He murdered 10 people this way. He murdered entire families, basically whoever lived in the house or was unfortunately in the house at that time. His final crime was in 1991, but he resurfaced in 2004 and again sought media attention. This eventually led to his arrest. He pled guilty and was ordered to serve 10 life sentences in prison.

Richard Ramirez was an American serial killer who raped and tortured more than 25 victims and murdered more than a dozen in their own homes. Victims ranged between a 9 year old girl and a married couple aged in their late sixties. He was called the "Night Stalker," Ramirez was turned on to Satanic worship at an early age by his cousin. As a signature he smeared pentagrams on the walls of the crime scenes.

Richard Ramirez was born Ricardo Leyva Muñoz Ramírez on February 28, 1960, in El Paso, Texas. He was the youngest of seven children born to Mercedes and Julian Ramírez, his father was a railway worker. Nicknamed Richard and Ricky, Ramirez had a bad childhood and was influenced by his older cousin, Mike who had recently returned from fighting in the Vietnam War. He told fascinated Richard stories about how he torture and mutilated Vietnamese women, often showing him pictures of the ordeals.

His criminal life first started as just theft but that turned to violence in 1984. This was when his 2 year killing spree started. His first victim was 79 year old Jennie Vincow, whom he sexually assaulted, stabbed and murdered during a burglary. Two years later he would have 25 victims. He was found after the stolen vehicle of one of his victims was found with his fingerprints inside. He was sentenced to 19 death sentences but died on death row in June of 2013.

• Get home security and make sure only you and the members of your family know the password.
• If you do not have home security make sure everything is secured and that you have protection at hand.

Frederick (Fred) West was born in Much Markle, Herefordshire. He was the second youngest of six kids to Daisy Hill and Walter West. Fred often says he was sexually abused in his household. He claimed his father had incestuous relationship with sisters and taught him bestiality (sex with animals).Rosemary (Rose) Letts was born in Devon, England in 1953. Her household was troubled and abusive. Her father, Bill Letts, was a schizophrenic who constantly beat her, her siblings and her mother, Daisy. She was also sexually abused by her father.

Fred and Rose West kidnapped, tortured and raped 11 young girls. Their victims were female and sometimes related to them. The ones who weren't were lured to their house saying that they would be hired as nannies or some job of the sort. When the victim was under their control, they would rape and torture her in wild bondage acts for days and then strangle or suffocate her and bury her on their property. They were caught when police dug up their garden with intentions of finding out the whereabouts of their missing daughter. Fred killed himself after being arrested while Rose was sentenced to life imprisonment.

Safety tips

• If you are going to be a live in nanny be sure to know your "bosses" beforehand. 
• After the first sign of any type of abuse towards your being, leave.

Above is a picture of Lawrence Bittaker and Roy Norris, their names in the place of where they stand in the picture (Bittaker left, Norris right). These partners were nicknamed ‘The Tool Box Killers’ they are American serial killers who together murdered 5 young women in California in 1979. Bittaker bought a 1977 GMC cargo van, it had no windows nor doors but one big door on the passenger side through which the victims were pulled through. They nicknamed it the "Murder Mack" and spent a few months doing trial runs in which they rode through town but mostly along the Pacific Coast Highway where they would occasionally stop at beaches and talk to young girls.

Bittaker was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was put up for adoption when he was just an infant. His adoptive father, George Bittaker, worked at aircraft factories and because of this they moved around frequently never really staying in one spot. Norris was born in Greeley, Colorado where he was raised. He joined the Navy at the age of 17 but never went into battle, instead he went into a life of crime. He was arrested 4 times for attempted rape in which one time he was successful. He met Bittaker in prison.

When they found that they shared similar fantasies, they made a plan to rape and torture girls together and decided to kill them to make sure they wouldn't be caught. They came up with several different ways of torture together then after they both were back home with solid jobs they met up with eachother. Together they picked up 5 girls and tortured and raped them while recording it as well. They were caught after someone who Norris often talked about his killings with told the police.

• Don't walk too close to domineering vehicles.
• If someone is trying to kidnap you look around for help before going with the perpetrator.

Above is John George Haigh. He was a serial killer who killed people who trusted him and embezzled their money by means of sulphuric acid. Haigh's known victims were direct victims of his cons, and were all killed to silence them. He took his time to build a relationship with them and then lured them to his workshop with a trick and then killed them there.

John George Haigh was born in 1909 and raised in a very religious household. His parents, Emily and John Haigh, were both members of the Plyemouth Brethren, a Christian sect. His father had a mark on his forehead and when John asked about it he replied that God put it on his head as punishment for a past sin and often told him he too would get one if he committed a sin. When John did commit sins and petty thefts and was not marked, he realized that it was possible to commit crimes and go unpunished.

He is know for saying "When I discovered there were easier ways of making a living than to work long hours in an office, I did not ask myself whether I was doing right or wrong. That seemed to me to be irrelevant. I merely said, 'This is what I wish to do'. And as the means lay within my power, that was what I decided." Haigh made friends with his victims and then killed them in his workplace, afterwards he dumped their bodies in a vault full of sulphuric acid. He was hung on August 10, 1949.

Safety tips

• Do not entrust anyone with your money or let them know your personal business.
• Do not go to places you don't know about, no matter who you're with.

Dana Sue Gray was addicted to luxury. That was all she knew and when she ran out of money she just had to find a way to get it. She did, by murdering three women. She loved to shop and that was her downfall. After strangling 57 year old Dorinda Hawkins she thought she had killed her but she miraculously, Hawkins survived. She went to the police and helped them make out a sketch.

Gray acted out often as a child after her father left. She often stole from her Mom's purse and dressed up in her clothing. She began addicted to shopping, doing it every single day but because she had to live her money needed to be used for different reasons. Because of this fact she decided she would use other people's money to shop instead. She did this and was caught after being sighted using one of her deceased victim's credit card to shop. She was sentenced to life without parole.

Safety tips

• When left alone with a stranger do not take them somewhere where no one else can see or hear what is going on.
• Don't underestimate people, Gray was very short and kind of small, something that migh ead you to believe she may be weak but she strangled her victims.

Above is Henry Lee Lucas, also called "the one-eyed drifter" because of a bad eye murdered three women, one being his own mother. These, though he has claimed to have murdered hundreds of people are the only victims he has been proved to have killed. Arrested for killing his mother in 1960 ten years later he was paroled. When he was released he was arrested once more for attempting to kidnap a fifteen year old girl. After being released again he murdered two more women and was arrested again in 1983, this time for good.

He began a romantic relationship with his niece, Becky Powell. Though she was his lover he later killed her. In June 1983, Lucas was arrested for possession of a deadly weapon. Because he was a convicted felon he was not allowed to have one. While in his cell, he began confessing to hundreds of murders. Since no one knew for sure he was considered a liar and the "lie" was dismissed. He was sentenced to life imprisonment and died in prison in 2001.

Though he is smiling and looks very happy and nice, Edmund Kemper is anything but that. He not only killed hitchhikers but shot his grandparents at the age of 15 and decapitated his mother. He hated both his mother and grandmother and had displaced his anger at his mother onto Maude (his mother). Kemper grabbed a rifle, and when she warned him not to shoot any birds he turned around and fired a bullet at her. It hit her in the head and though she was already did he continued by shooting her in the back twice.

 As a child he lived with his mother and father. He was close to his father, but he divorced his mother in 1957 when Kemper was nine and she moved with him and his siblings to Montana. It was a difficult separation for Edmund him and to toughen him up his mother often locked him in the basement. He hated his mother but spoke as if he understood why she did what she did. In many different interviews, he talked about all of the things he was afraid of and the things he imagined doing.

Kemper began killing because of another killer, Herbert Mullin. What started it, according to what he said in several interviews, was his mother's constant needling and humiliation. He killed what he called "pretty female hitchhikers." He also said that he was afraid that he'd fail in heterosexual relationships something he said he helped fuel his desire to kill women. When he picked them up he drove to a remote area quickly and shot them. He confessed on April 23rd, 1973, he had 10 victims.

• DO NOT HITCHHIKE it is very dangerous, many people have gone missing while doing this.

Albert Fish is a cannibalistic serial killer who is said to have eaten 5 children. He was sadistic, known for pushing more 29 needles into his rectum and playing sadistic games with his children. His most  known victims is Grace Budd, the younger sister of a boy he had previously wanted to victimize. He said he , for a very long time wanted to eat a child. He began lusting after this after hearing a friend tell him how it'd tasted.

Albert Fish was ironically considered "the man you would entrust your children with." Something that he used advantage of. He was very nice and gentle and obviously, a good liar. He was imprisoned many times, the first time for grand larceny(the offense of illegally taking the property of another) and after that was arrested 6 more times for random petty crimes. Each of these times the charges were dropped. He had also been institutionalized more than once.

Other than little Gracie Fish confessed was linked to the murder of 3 other children. Many of the children he was looking after and or lived near and he made friends with their parents. He took them for a ride and later into the woods where he killed them. After taking off of his clothes and calling Grace up to him he laughed while she cried and choked while he strangled her. Albert Fish confessed in the summer of 1928 and was sentenced to death by electrocution. After hearing the verdict Fish smiled and thanked the judge for this sentence, content with the way he would be "going out" burning with intense heat and happy.

Safety tips

• Even if someone looks friendly and nice they very well may not be. Grace Budd's parents entrusted their daughter with someone they knew less than 2 days.
• If a child is trying to get away from someone and looks frightened, call the authorities especially if the child is of a young age.
• Look into the background of your child's babysitter, Fish was arrested multiple times, someone you shouldn't want your young children around. 

This is Dennis Nilsen, the subject of my first entry, was a homosexual serial killer. He, like Jeffrey Dahmer picked up men from the bar and took him back to his house. These men then engaged in sexual intercourse with him and fell asleep. When they awoke, when trying to leave Nilsen strangled them. Scared that they might still be alive he immediately dipped their head under water and held it there until he was sure that they were no longer living. He did this exact thing to other victims... 14 more times.

When asked how this came about Nilsen claimed that his mind began to rot at the sight of his grandfather's course, which traumatized him. Born is Fraserburgh, Scotland, on November 23rd 1945 he was the only child to his parents, Olav and Betty Nilsen. The marriage was not a good one though because of his father's constant absenses due to drunk habits. He loved his Andrew Whyte, his grandfather who died when Nilsen was only six. After the death his mother took his to see his corpse. He says that this killed all good emotions inside of him.

Dennis Nilsen was very lonely and to himself. He barely talked to anyone and when he did people described him as disconnected. Nilsen said he killed because he didn't want his new friends to leave. He became completely attached to the comfort a partner brought to his life in just a few hours. After trial he was sentenced to life in prison and isn't eligible for parole until the 25th year.

Safety tips

• When going home with someone make sure you know where you are, victims who he let go were able to give the police an address. 
• If you do go home with someone you just met do not spend the night. Many of Nilsen's victims never have the opportunity to awake. 

Above is Aileen Wournos and she is my first female serial killer. Women have been murdering serially for as long as men, though their victims are usually family members or friends and acquaintances. Women usually use poison to kill, but Wournos was different. She killed strangers with a gun, the strangers were her johns. She was a prostitute who murdered to protect her girlfriend. She was a killer that had absolutely no remorse.

She had no remorse but lied constantly when she was caught. She would say they tried to rape her, but she was a prostitute. She tried to receive remorse from others saying "she never had a chance" bringing up facts from her life as she grew up. She was abandoned by her mother, who left her with her grandmother and is said to have had an incestuous relationship with her brother.

Aileen wasn't considered very pretty to most people but her girlfriend loved her. She quit her job as a motel maid and stayed at home while Wournos took care of them from her earnings as a prostitute. After the money ran short she began to kill. Aileen Wournos killed 7 men and though she took a plea bargain she received to six death sentences.


Safety Tips

• Most prostitutes have guns, tazors, and many other forms of "protection" on them. You should too.
• If going to a remote spot with a prostitute or stripper do not go into an area in which you are unfamiliar of.

Jeffrey Dahmer was a serial killer, necrophiliac, cannibal and psychopath. He is infamous for the descriptions given by the cops and journalists/ reporters that entered his apartment the day he was arrested. One reporter, Anne Schwartz said "in the back of the closet was a metal stockpot that contained decomposed hands and a penis. On the shelf above the kettle were two skulls." Dahmer killed 17 males in the span of 13 years. Every male was either homosexual or bisexual and engaged in sexual activities with Dahmer before he strangled them to death.
Jeffrey Dahmer was another smooth and well spoken serial killer who easily subdued his victims. He met most of his victims at gay bars but picked up his first real victim, Steven Hicks. He picked up Hicks who was hitchhiking. They went back to Dahmer's home, drank beer, and had sex. After Hicks tried to leave he killed him, cut up his body and buried it in bags in the woods behind his house. Dahmer revisited this corpse after a few months to further crush the Hicks decomposing body.
Dahmer used a form of charm to pick up his victims. He would play a nice friendly homosexual man that just wanted to go get a drink and wanted someone to do that with. But once they were drunk enough and drugged by the pills he crushed up and served in his victims' drinks he raped them. During the rape he sometimes took pictures of the victims in positions in which they were bonded and posed. Afterwards he strangled and dismembered them. He kept the skulls of certain victims and boiled them until the flesh came off;when that happened he painted them gray and kept them on a shelf. Dahmer also practiced cannibalism, a few body parts were found cooking and in his refrigerator there were strips and pieces of humans flesh wrapped up for later.
Safety tips

• Don't go home with a stranger. Don't. Especially is you are under any influence that wouldn't make you think clearly. Just as you could be lying to them about your age, something small. They could be lying about where you two are going, something serious. 
• If you do go home with a stranger make sure you are aware of your surroundings, Jeffrey Dahmer put pills in his victim's drinks while he made them. He also had hands and penises cooking on his stove.

Ted Bundy, born Theodore Cowell in Burlington, Vermont was an American serial killer who killed 49+ women;he killed from 1974-1978 in seven different states. Bundy raped and murdered his victims and sometimes committed necrophilia, a process where you have sexual relations with a dead body. Most serial killers have a victim type, meaning they searched for a specific type of person that they wanted to kill. Bundy's victims were all pretty brunettes who reminded him of his ex-fiance who cut off their engagement.

Ted Bundy is an example of one of the worst type of serial killers, the enticing one. He was handsome, smart, charismatic, and (from what his victims know) wounded. There was no way he could possibly want to harm them. But they were wrong, there are many serial killers who were very smart and knew excatly how to use that to their advantage when "picking up" their victims. Smart serial killers make plans and "act out" the situation in which they win their victims over.
There was mainly one way that Bundy captured the many victims he murdered. He did this by faking an arm injury and would ask them for help with his books, bag, whatever it was that he had that he  used as a "prop." Bundy also impersonated a police officer and lured a young women to his car when he was too far from his car to ask her for help. He asked her to check to see if anything from her own car was missing after he reported that someone had been seen trying to break into her car.

Safety tips

• If anyone asks you for help to their car, don't.  Though there is a slight chance that that person might really need your help but there is a higher chance that they don't. It's not worth the risk. 
• If you do want to get some type of help for him/her you can go to an officer or security and tell them someone needs help in the parking lot. 
• If a person of authority asks you to accompany them to their vehicle and it isn't a marked police car, do not go. 
• When asked to file a complaint reply that you will follow through on your own, or offer to follow his vehicle to the police station. If you didn't see the incident occur there is nothing you can say anyway.

            "I wish I could stop but I couldn't. It was my only thrill and happiness."

This quote was said by Dennis Nilsen, a serial killer from London, England. Nilson was convicted of the murder of 15 young men. He often met the men at bars and would talk and drink with them until the night fell. When the men went home with him they engaged in sexual acts and to avoid being "lonely" Nilson killed them after they tried to go to their own homes for the night. During an interview when asked why he didn't just stop killing the quote above is how Dennis Nilsen replied.

There are many different reactions to stories such as this, some people are frightened, some appalled, some disturbed, but there are others who are in some way, interested. This blog is the physical project I have chosen to do my senior project on and serial killers are my topic. Serial killers come in all shapes, sizes, genders, and faces. Friends and family have often killed family members and close friends, sometimes because of small anger fits. On this blog I will talk about the most infamous serial killers and after every entry I will include help and safety tips.
